Alice in Deadland Trilogy
Alice in Deadland Trilogy |
| Posted: I couldn't even make it through the first book without calling it quits. I liked the premise enough to buy the trilogy and I'm a HUGE zombie genre fan, basically reading anything I can get my hands on. This author had my attention for about 3-4 chapters and everything after that felt like a chore. I didn't care what happened with the antagonist, protagonist, the innocent people, or the zombies. You never get GRIPPED into the story like a great author knows how to do. Normally I spend 2-3 hours a night before bed reading and when I knew this was the book on my kindle I read maybe 30 minutes trying to give it a chance. It never hooked me and it probably won't hook you. That is unless you enjoy characters you won't care about and reading at a 3rd grade level. There's no character development, a meh plot, and the flow of the story is just unbearable. If you want to read a good zombie book look elsewhere. There are PLENTY of fantastic choices out there. |
